Let’s Talk Quality

We use Epson SureColor P9000 printer, that uses the Epson UltraChrome HDX Ink.  The Epson UltraChrome HDX Ink provides an exceptional color gamut to include a superior black density.  These inks have been tested by Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc.  Wilhelm Imaging Research has found that the Epson UltraChrome HDX inks can last between 100 years to 400 years before showing signs of fading.  This is impeccable! The images you print with DIY will last for generations to come.  This provides you with the highest quality paper or canvas print out there.

We have also partnered the high-quality Epson products with the high quality of the Chromaluxe HD Aluminum sublimation panels.  The same company that tested the Epson UltraChrome HDX Ink, tested the fade resistance of the Chromaluxe sublimation panels used in partnership with the Epson UltraChrome DS inks.  They found that, that combination of inks and Chromaluxe panels have a WIR Display Permanence Rating of 65 years.  That means for you when you get your photos printed here at DIY, you are getting a product that will last.

“With unprecedented resistance to surface abrasion, high humidity, atmospheric ozone, and contact with water, ChromaLuxe prints, available in sizes up to 4×8 feet, can be safely displayed without the need for framing under glass or acrylic, face-mounting, or surface laminating.” (Wilhelm Imaging Research Inc.)

We strive to bring you the highest quality products.
